Gain Control of Youtube Video

/	Focus on Youtube Search Bar
Esc	Focus away from Search Bar
2x Alt+Tab	Focus on Video (focus away from Browser, then back)
Click on lower part of video (under the progress bar)	Focus on Video

Navigate Video

Windows	Description Edit Cancel Save & submit
K or Space or Click	Play/ Pause Video (K does not need focus on video)
J/L	Jump backwards/ forward 10 seconds (regardless of focus)
Arrow Left/Arrow Right	Jump backwards/ forward 5 seconds
1…9	Jump to 10% to 90% of the video
add #t=10m to URL	Jump to 10 minutes into video (press Alt+D, then End, then type #t=10m). Add seconds as necessary
Home or 0 (zero)	Jump to the start of the video
End	Jump to the end of the video (if video not in playlist)
, (comma)	Go backwards a little bit when video is paused
. (dot)	Go forward a little bit when video is paused
Page Down/Page Up	Jump backwards/ forward 1 minute (only when the progress bar is focused)

Video Control

F or Double click	Full screen mode on/off
Esc	Leave full screen mode
M	Mute on/off
>/< (Shift+./Shift+,)	Increase/ decrease video speed in intervals 0.5 - 0.25 - normal - 1.25 - 1.5 - 2
C	Toggle Close Captioning
+/-	Increase / decrease CC font size (works in Chrome, not in Firefox)
B	Change CC Background color
Arrow Up/Arrow Down	Increase/ decrease volume by 5% (You must be focused on the video player, either by hitting Tab until you are focused or clicking on the video itself)
Right click	Open a menu
Move mouse or press otherwise unassigned key	show controls for a few seconds (in fullscreen mode show also the video's title)

Playlists

Windows	Description Edit Cancel Save & submit
Shift+P	Previous video in playlist
Shift+N or End	Next video in playlist
